I talked to my gal, Caroline, from Sweden yesterday (I forgot to mention that). She came over here to Virginia Beach in September 2005 for a foreign exchange program, but she left shortly after Christmas of that year.

I miss here, a lot. She wanted me to talk to her boyfriend on the phone (who happened to speak better English than she did). He asked me, in an attempt to relate to a teenage guy over here in America, "Vat's Up?," which I thought was cute on his part, and I told him to take care of Caroline.

She told me that she is working in a regional medical center, in an emergency room clinic or something (I sort of lost the news in the mis-translation).

Its so good to hear from a long-lost friend.

This seems like a great film. I hope we all get an opportunity to view this film once it is released.

As much as I hate to say it, I am going to miss my hometown of Virginia Beach. Of all the natural treasures this seaside town has to offer - among them backward conservatives, backwoods bigots, and a generation of beach-centric high school dropouts - I know that I am mostly going to miss my kindred Bombshells clan.

No worries, I'm not leaving town (well, I am, but...), I'm just moving over to Norfolk, in the West Ghent neighborhood. With its ideal proximity to downtown (and the Governor's School), cultural institutions (such as the Chrysler and the theater district), and the thriving eclectic artist scene in Ghent, which, I might add, is notoriously gay-friendly, I feel that I have never been so close to my spiritual home as a will be in just a short period of time.

So, what does this mean? Well, as the Bombshells group, we will not all entirely be coexisting within the realms of Virginia Beach. Still, as most of us continue to attend Governor's School, I am pleasured to know that my new residence will be conveniently close if any of you ever wish to partake in a sudden sabbatical away from the "Steve" and "Shawn," etc. On a smaller note, I'll be leaving Salem High and transferring to Maury.

Also, because I am moving into a new location, I have put under deep consideration the possibility of hosting my own Bombshells party for the group. Its still in the developmental stages (as far as theme, and what we shall do is concerned), but I thought that I might implant that notion on your subconscious radar.

Much love. I'm so excited I'll be moving to Norfolk.
