Unfortunately, I check the blog often but usually wait for someone else to post.
Sounds like you girls are having a fantastic time. I personally am in the upper peninsula of Michigan, which you all will recall is in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.
I bought this really cute blue camisole-chemise-thing at Wal-Mart. My mother almost died. I'm going to buy a leopard-print blazer and wear it to school. Oooh yeah...
I may be able to hang out Labor Day but I'm not sure, that's usually the day that my mom and I hit the stores but considering that she's making me pay for my own school clothes this year that probably won't be a problem. We'll just have to wait and see.
I bought an MP3 player. It's so lovely; USB storage, completely compact, with an armband and a blue-backlit screen. *Le sigh.*
Until next time!

I remember when...I was told the story of crushed velvet, candle wax, and dried up flowers...So Brandi had a crazy night last night, girls.
Dressed as a sexxxxxy pirate, she went to see the Goonies last night with her boys: JP, Alan, Nick, and Cassie. (Well, Cassie seems to be kind of awkward placed in the 'Girls' category. Even if she did wear a dress last night with her skinny-as-hell shaven legs.) The movie was pretty funny.
But the real fun didn't start until afterwards.
I planned on scavenging for a ride; you know, the whole, "I'll get a ride from someone who is there" attitude. Which isn't so bad, unless everyone in the party decides that's what they'll do too. So we all get out of the movie at 12:00 and have no one to pick us up.
After joking around in the Cinema Cafe lobby for a while, we finally head over to Food Lion to retrieve a phone book. Only problem is that they're closed. Great. We had nowhere to go. And here we are, standing outside of a closed Food Lion:
A pirate
A hip Fairytale Prince with a beret
An Asia-trash girl with a lobster scarf
A nut-job anarchist and...
A dinosaur
Standing in a closed shopping center, hiding behind pillars as the cops ride by.
We all searched our cell phones for an hour, calling anyone and everyone we knew with the entire "I'm stranded!" line of sob story. We even had these drunk-as-hell chicks pull up beside us and be like, "I just wanted to let you know...I like your outfit."
I was somewhere between flattered and horrified.
Finally, I got one of my mobile friends to come retrieve me in the middle of night after he snuck out of his house. It was insane.
But SO MUCH FUN.
I always hear these stories about all of these wild teenagers and all of the crazy fun that they get into. But me, I'm a homebody, a geeky little girl who spends her nights writing fanfiction on the internet. My teenage-hood is no different than my child-hood except rather than writing stories about unicorns and faeries I write stories about sex addicts and religious fanatics.
Last night was a turning point in my entire adolescence.
